It might be helpful to read about Turkey's various regions and climates to chose a particular coast and localize your search.

Personally I'd go with the South-west (i.e. southern Aegean). I visited a village called Selimiye in that region and it was pretty nice. There were already some German retirees there, too.

I recommend you to contact real estate agencies in Turkey, like Remax or Century21.
Or there are also some specialized agencies which works with only foreigners like you.

no disrespect but Remax and alikes usually rip you off. I'd suggest familiriazing with how Turkish real estate market operates first and then pitch in.

I'm hearing there are many Europeans buying estates from Eagean region, especially around Bodrum.

I personally think of a Datça-Bozburun place to live in my future life..
